Cookie Policy

This policy describes the EDU ADVANCE platform as operated today. A legal or content owner should review it before relying on it in production. It is not legal advice and does not create rights beyond those required by applicable law.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. EDU ADVANCE also uses server-side session storage. Together they keep you signed in, protect forms and remember short-lived choices such as a programme compare list.

Essential cookies

A session cookie (configured in the application) identifies your visit so login, flash messages and CSRF protection work. Without it, student, partner, staff and admin portals cannot function. A CSRF / XSRF token cookie helps stop other websites from submitting forms in your name.

Authentication and session cookies

When you sign in, the session cookie is tied to your account. If you choose a “remember me” option where offered, a longer-lived remember-token cookie may be set. Signing out clears the authenticated session.

Preference cookies

Compare and shortlist selections are stored in the server session (and, for signed-in students, in the database). We do not currently set a separate marketing-preference cookie.

Analytics cookies

The public website does not currently set advertising or third-party analytics cookies. If Admin enables an analytics product later, that product’s cookies will be named here before it is switched on.

Third-party cookies

Embedded maps, store badges or social links only appear when Admin has configured a real URL. Clicking those links takes you to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Apple, Google or a map provider, which may set their own cookies under their policies. We do not load those widgets until a URL is configured.

Cookie management

You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking essential cookies will stop login and form submission. For questions, email hello@eduadvance.com.
